June 2, 2024: Timothy Hoffman (58), the father of a 19 yo female who was murdered by a group of teens in Alaska five years ago, has died after crashing his motorcycle during a memorial ride 
honoring his late daughter. The fatal wreck, which also critically injured the man’s wife, took place in Wasilla, the state’s fourth-largest city, about 40 miles north of Anchorage.
According to troopers, Hoffman, who was not wearing a helmet, was driving about 1:30 p.m. local time when the crash took place. His wife reportedly wore a helmet. Both victims were found unresponsive and taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, where Hoffman was pronounced dead.
The victim’s daughter, Cynthia Hoffman, was killed by four teenagers in 2019 near Thunderbird Falls, about 20 miles south of where her father died in the wreck.
Hoffman was fatally shot in a catfishing scheme after an Indiana man posed as a millionaire and hired a group of teenagers to kill her for $9 million. Read the rest of this entry »
